Public Affairs Experts To Speak At Re-ignite Forum

One of the fallouts of Covid-19 pandemic for corporate organisations is the massive disruption in stakeholders’ expectation with its attendant drawbacks.

Often left to design strategies for dealing with this unexpected developments are those managing Public Affairs functions; a responsibility that will need new thinking, new paradigm to be effectively managed going forward.

According to a statement signed by Tola Odusote, Deputy Director, Re-Ignite Public Affairs Limited, expert resource persons have been carefully selected to speak on the topic: Managing the Public Affairs Function Post Covid-19.

Speakers include: Sade Morgan, Corporate Affairs Director, Nigerian Breweries Plc; Ade Adefeko, Vice President, Corporate & Government Relations, Olam Nigeria; Emeka Oparah, Vice President, Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility, Airtel Nigeria; and Olufemi Awoyemi, Founder/ Chairman Proshare Nigeria.

The session will be moderated by Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, President Africa Public Relations Association (APRA), and Group Managing Director, CMC Connect Limited (Perception Managers) while Executive Director/COO, Re-Ignite Public Affairs, Franklyn Ginger-Eke is the forum coordinator.

The panelists will explore various aspects of Public Affairs function and emerging challenges in the face of Covid-19 disruptions.

They will proffer solutions based on their respective experiences in the areas of crisis management, government relations, stakeholders’ engagement, regulatory affairs, customer relations and shareholders management, employee’s relations, policy matters, etc.
