MAPOLY Alumni Group, Ojere Igbayen Set For Reunion Season 2 January 9

All arrangements have been concluded by the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Alumni group under the platform of Ojere Igbayen to hold its second annual get-together in grand style on January 9, 2022.

The event, scheduled to hold at Zaneta Hub, 301 Ikorodu Road, opposite Maryland Mall, Lagos, is themed ‘Happy moment’.

According to a statement by the Chairman, Organising Committee, Abdul-Hafeez Atanda-Shoremi, the reunion, which is aimed at establishing a stronger network and further development of the alumni group is also expected to provide an avenue for old students to regale themselves with stories of their days in the school and to also recollect fond memories of the time spent.

While assuring members that the reunion promises to be full of fun and other social activities, Atanda-Shoremi reiterated,  “Reunions are a fantastic way of meeting up with old friends and reminiscing about your days in school. Holding a reunion can enable you to reunite alumni who have lost touch with one another, reignite old friendships or they can simply be an excuse to hold a celebration for those of you who have managed to stay in touch over the years.”

Speaking on the group, Ojere Igbayen, Atanda-Shoremi explained that it is a social and service to humanity club that consists of different sets across various departments of Mapoly.

 “It’s a hub for any person who either passed through or had anything to do with Ojere. It’s meant to be a hub for socialization and networking amongst old friends,” he noted.

He noted that a lot of activities have been lined up to make the event a remarkable one.

Atanda-Shoremi however encouraged all graduates of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, formerly known as Ogun State Polytechnic to feel free to join the group.

Ojere is the name of the village where the Ogun State Polytechnic, now known as Moshood Abiola Polytechnic is situated in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
