Kidnapped OOU Students Regain Freedom


Ogun state Police Command has secured the release of the two students of Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU, who were kidnapped on Sunday night.


Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the release to newsmen Tuesday evening in Abeokuta, the state capital.


Oyeyemi noted that the abducted students, Precious Adeyemo and Abiola Oyefule were presently in the police custody at the moment and shall be released to their families after confirming stability in their state of health.


It would be recalled that the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun had earlier assured that the students would be released unhurt.
