Just In: Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo Emerges Winner of Abeokuta North LG Chairmanship Poll
The chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta North local government, Hon Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo has been declared winner of the just concluded council polls held yesterday, November 16th.
According to the Chairman of the Ogun state Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC), Mr. Babatunde Osibodu who announced the results, Oyegbola-Sodipo polled 15,494 votes to record a landslide victory in the election.
The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP polled 4, 136 to emerge as second position while Labour Party got 552 votes.
A total of 20,535 votes were cast.
