Bishop Oyedepo Breaks Silence On Alleged Leaked Audio With Obi

....Says Every Party Came To Me For Prayer

The founder of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo on Sunday revealed that all political parties that took part in the just concluded general elections sought his prayers.

The clergy, who made the assertion during live Sunday service, said though he prayed for them,  he has never campaigned for anybody.

Oyedepo explained some people are angry with him because he only speaks what God tells him to say and not what people want to hear.

His words: “I don’t speak what people want to hear, I speak what God tells me to say, that is why some people are very angry with me. Nobody has ever told me what to say in this world. I have never campaigned for anybody or spoken on anybody’s behalf, and I will not do that till I go to heaven. There is no party in this country that did not come to me for prayers, there is none, for prayers and advice. I advise them, some don’t take it; those who chose to take it, they see results, those who say no, they’re going about it.”

“Whether you are a member of a church or not, without your faith Papa’s prayer won’t do nothing,” he said.

This is coming amid a viral leaked audio of a purported conversation between the man of God and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.

In the audio currently circulating on social media, Obi was heard begging Oyedepo to mobilize votes for him, saying “this is religious war”.
