At 55 I Don’t Want To Be Alone – Shaffy Bello

Veteran actress Shaffy Bello has bared her heart about the desire to have a man in her life for companionship.

During her appearance on Mercy Johnson-Okojie’s cook show, ‘Mercy’s Menu’, Bello explained she yearned to return home to a partner after all the day’s work.

The 52-year-old thespian well-known for her role as Joanne Lawson in Africa’s most popular soap opera “Tinsel,” while describing herself as a ‘one man king of women’ suggested she wouldn’t want to remain single at 55.

“I am a one-man kind of woman and I believe there are a lot of women here to fill a home.

“That is why when I meet people or go on a date, they are women.

“I want to settle with someone at the end of the day, I don’t want to be 55 and then go out or have a birthday party and then come home and be all alone; I don’t want that.

“I want to be with someone, maybe not marriage, but a companion.”
