“You’re Too Arrogant,” Nigerians React As PDP Lagos Senatorial Candidate, BOG Threatens To Delete ‘Inactive Friends’

Nigerians, especially Lagosians have been reacting to a post made by candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the October 31 Lagos East Senatorial by-election, Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi on his Facebook account.

Apparently angry that contrary to his expectations, only quite a handful of his friends and supporters have been showing solidarity for his Senatorial ambition, Gbadamosi, popularly known as BOG, took to his Facebook page on Sunday where he posted; “If you have been inactive and are just occupying space on my friends list, I will delete you from tomorrow.”

However, with the controversial post, the astute estate developer, known for his Amen Estate in Lekki, where many influential people, celebrities in the society live, seems to have incurred the wrath of his supporters and ‘friends’ who have accused him of being arrogant for posting such statement on Facebook.

While some pleaded with him not to delete anyone, others told him they would delete themselves from his list even before he carries out his threat.

According to them, even the BOG that’s accusing others of being inactive on his page, has never found time to wish his friends on Facebook ‘ordinary happy birthday.’

Gbadamosi, who is having about 4,994 friends out of the allowed 5,000 friends for an individual on Facebook, is also followed by 19,416 friends.
