Yahaya Bello Suspends Commissioner for Allegedly Raping, Brutalising Lady Over Facebook Post

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has ordered the suspension of Abdulmumuni Danga, Commissioner for Water Resources in the state.

The Commissioner was reported to have allegedly raped and assaulted a lady over a Facebook post.

There has been a sustained widespread condemnation, especially on the social media since the news broke that the commissioner had kidnapped, assaulted and raped the lady identified as Elizabeth Oyeniyi before releasing her.

The governor had on Wednesday set up a committee to unravel the truth behind the allegations.
