Struggle Continues As #EndSARS Launches Soro Soke Radio

Protesting Nigerian youths, who have been out on the streets for over a week, under the auspices of #EndSARS, #EndPoliceBrutality among others have taken their advocacy to another level as they have launched an online radio.

Dubbed “Soro Soke Radio”, songs that align with the objectives of the protesters are currently being played on the station.

Soro Soke is a Yoruba term which means speak up.

The online radio also has voices of presenters who intermittently give reasons for the protests, as well as updates on the protests across the country.

As at the time of filing this report, a presenter on the radio was heard appealing with fellow protesters not to involved in violent acts against security agents as well as pro-SARS protesters.

However, the presenter, whose name could not be gotten, clarified that the medium is not a radio, but a live podcast 24/7.
