For the past few weeks, the controversial clips of Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Ali Pantami, who has been Billboard in the eyes of Nigerians in the clips that resurfaced online for supporting terrorist groups, had caused great bewilderment among country citizens.
Without a doubt, spot-lighting the story said to be compromised of Islamic clerics, Pantami will be considered backlash to the presidency but interesting to patriotic citizens of Nigeria.
It is becoming strange to Nigerians after ousting former president, Jonathan while Buhari and his APC-led-administration blamed the former president for not taken security matters a top priority but same set of people are found sympathetic to the man who was captured in a videotape vocally promoting jihadist.
While the presidency’s negligence backlashed Nigerians for being harshed on Pantami, we can quickly flashback when former Minister of finance, Kemi Adeosun, was shown an exist-door for alleged certificate forgery.
The audio and clips released by Media organizations in the country caused nonplussed both in Nigeria and Diaspora after spotted him among terrorists.
Pantami denied all the allegations but later declared that he was a teenager then. Ignorance is not an excuse” so as Adeosun got fired so should be for Pantami.
Presidency faze in choosing Pantami
According to Punch newspaper, A report surfaced in which Pantami was said to be the leader of a group that murdered Sunday Achi.
Achi’s father, Professor Samuel Achi, said in one of a report that Pantami was the Chief Iman of ATBU mosque And was murdered at ATBU Mosque.
Surprisingly, A government who came office to fight corruption, banditry and all sort of unlawful activities in the country are now giving writers opportunity to describe them on dirty pages of newspapers.
The country’s unity now hanged in a vow as boundless killing, corruption, and kidnapping are recorded in Buhari’s led government.
Quite interesting now as Pantami’s crimes are opened secret to the world especially to this led-administration striving hard to curb corruption and insecurity. Why can’t he be put on trial?
