Poco Lee to Appear Before London Court Over Assault Allegation September 15

The Snaresbrook Crown Court in London has confirmed that Nigerian dancer and socialite, Iweh Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, is scheduled to appear before the court on September 15, 2026, in connection with an assault case.

The court confirmed the development in correspondence with PUNCH Online on Tuesday after the newspaper contacted the court over the alleged sexual assault involving the entertainer.

The court’s Admin Team Lead, James Baker, said the case was listed for plea and trial preparation on September 15. He, however, declined to disclose the specific time and courtroom, saying the information would only be available on the day before the hearing.

The development follows a claim by the founder of the community of Nigerians in the United Kingdom, Benjamin Kuti, also known as Oluomo of Derby, that Poco Lee was currently on remand in a UK prison and expected to appear in court in September.

Kuti said he was familiar with the development through his regular attendance at court proceedings involving Nigerians in the UK. He explained that a plea hearing would ordinarily involve the accused entering either a guilty or not-guilty plea.

The court’s confirmation establishes that the case is listed for September 15, although details of the specific allegations and the proceedings will be determined through the court process.
