Nigeria’s Independence: Businessmen, Ramnani, Mahtani, Donate Food Items To Less Privileged In Yaba, Eti-Osa
In celebration of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary, a spirit of generosity and community upliftment filled the vibrant streets of Yaba and Eti-Osa on Friday, October 11, 2024.
Prominent international businessmen and investors in Nigeria, Mr Sudeep Ramnani and Mr Jai Mahtani took a significant step in giving back to society by donating essential food items to the less privileged in the Yaba and Eti-Osa local government areas of Lagos State.
This noble act was part of their celebration of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary, showcasing their unwavering commitment to supporting the local community.
Through their representative, Beulah Akingbelu-Banjo, the duo distributed a wide array of food items, ensuring that those in need felt the warmth of compassion and solidarity. This outreach not only provided immediate relief to families struggling with hunger but also aligned with the Federal Government’s efforts to combat food poverty across the nation. It was a beautiful reminder that, even in challenging times, there are individuals and organizations willing to step up and make a difference.
Mr Ramnani and Mr Mahtani expressed their heartfelt sentiments, stating, “There is no better way to honour Nigeria than by contributing to the welfare and wellbeing of its citizens, even in small ways.” This philosophy resonates deeply, as it emphasizes the importance of community and the collective responsibility we all share in uplifting one another.
The distribution of food items is just the beginning of a larger vision. The two businessmen, Ramnani and Mahtani expressed their readiness to extend their outreach efforts to every local government in Nigeria, aiming to cover two local governments at a time over the next couple of years. This long-term commitment underscores their belief in sustainable development and the importance of investing in local communities.
