Just In: Another Coronavirus Patient Dies In Lagos
A 36-year-old man has died of Coronavirus in Lagos state.
His death was announced by the Lagos Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi, on Twitter today April 5.
According to Professor Abayomi, the deceased passed away on Saturday, April 4 in a private facility. His tweet reads:
“We lost a #COVID19 patient ; a 36 year old Nigerian, male who died in a private facility on 4th April, 2020. Total number of #COVID19 patients who have died are now two.
One case was evacuated bringing total evacuated to 2

This is the fifth death case in Nigeria.
