In 25-Year Journey, NDDC Partners Pro-Health International For Free Medical Outreach in MBO LG, Akwa Ibom

PORT HARCOURT, Nigeria – The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC has catered for the needs of people in the Niger Delta region in every aspect of life including the area of healthcare.

Way back in May 2005, the NDDC went into partnership with Pro-Health International to provide free medical outreach at Primary Health Centre Enwang in MBO Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State.

The importance of this medical outreach in the rural area cannot be overemphasized due to limited medical interventions in the area.

During the intervention, both the young and the elderly were catered for from mild ailments to serious medical issues.
