Ighalo’s First Manchester United Goal Sends Football World Into Frenzy
Nigerian ex-forward Odion Ighalo on Thursday night scored his first goal for Manchester United.
The 30-year-old completed a move to Old Trafford at the end of January and is due to spend the remainder of the 2019-20 campaign on loan at the club from Shanghai Shenhua.
Ighalo had featured off the bench against Chelsea, Club Brugge and Watford before making his first start against Brugge in the second leg of their last-32 Europa League contest on Thursday night.
The centre-forward got off the mark for his new club in the 34th minute when he tapped a low Juan Mata cross past former Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet into the back of the net.

The ex-Nigeria international has got the world talking having made the Red Devils’ starting 11 and also scoring his first goal against Club Brugge.
Social media has been awash with reactions.
As expected, this development has got football fans talking on Twitter and other social media.
