BREAKING: Another Nollywood Star, Murphy Afolabi, Passes Away
Less than 24 hours after the news filtered out about the death of a popular Nollywood actor, Saint Obi, another popular actor of Yoruba movies, Murphy Afolabi, has passed away on Sunday.
While circumstances surrounding Afolabi’s death is not yet known, however, a colleague of the deceased in the Yoruba subsector of the Nollywood, Tunde Ola-Yusuf, has confirmed the sad news.
Sharing a picture of the actor, Ola-Yusuf wrote: “REST IN PEACE. “May God give the family and close associates the fortitude to bear the loss.
“Good night Muphy Afolabi.”
Murphy Afolabi, a Nigerian actor, scriptwriter, movie producer and director who is well respected in the Yoruba movie industry.
The Nollywood actor and movie producer was born in Osogbo, Osun State on the 5th of May 1974.
