Avoid Girls Who Ask For Transport Money, Pastor Mildred Advises Men

Mildred Okonkwo, the wife of the founder and lead pastor of David Christian Centre (DCC) in Lagos State, Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, has warned Nigerian men to avoid getting married to any girl who requests transport fare before visiting.

The clergywoman disclosed this while delivering a sermon on what intending men should consider before choosing their partners.

In a now-viral video on social media, the pastor alleged that only lazy girls ask men for transport fare money, adding that such a caliber of girls should be avoided by men who are planning to settle down for marriage.

She said, “Don’t marry a lazy girl. A girl that will ask you for transport money is useless. Tell them I said so.

She added, “The advice that they are giving you, that a guy should give a girl transport fare, already invokes the fact that the girl you are dating or interested in is a poor girl.”
