At 25: NDDC Controlls Flooding in Okpe , Settlements, Using Canal
The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC is showcasing some of its accomplishments in the 25 years of existence.
One of the achievements is the construction of canal in Okpe farms and settlements to control perennial flooding.
Today, farmers are having bountiful harvest and they are thanking the NDDC for helping them to control flooding and making it possible for them reap from their labour.
Okpe’s canalisation in Delta State has helped to control flooding in the local farms and settlements.
