De Santiago Milan Hotel Appoints Ogundowo As New Operations Manager

De Santiago Milan Hotel and Suites has appointed Mrs. Olabukola J. Ogundowo as its new Operations Manager following a competitive recruitment process conducted by hospitality consultancy firm WERTVOLL Consulting Services.

The appointment marks a significant step in the hotel’s drive to strengthen its management team and enhance service delivery as it continues to position itself as one of Lagos’ leading hospitality and wellness destinations.

Mrs. Ogundowo, who holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from Covenant University, Ota, emerged as the successful candidate after a rigorous selection process involving written examinations, document verification and face-to-face interviews.

According to WERTVOLL Consulting Services, the recruitment exercise attracted 323 applications received between August 1 and 3, with only 66 candidates making the shortlist for the final assessment stages. Mrs. Ogundowo emerged as the overall best candidate and was subsequently recommended to lead the hotel’s operations.

De Santiago Milan Hotel and Suites, located at Plot 3088, Festac Link Road (Festac Access Road), Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos, officially commenced operations on December 1, 2017. The hotel features 78 luxury rooms, suites and apartments and offers accommodation, conference facilities, restaurants, swimming and wellness services for corporate, business and leisure travellers. Its strategic location provides convenient access to Tin Can Island Port and the Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
