Business Verge Awards Returns for 2nd E-Edition, Celebrating Africa’s Boldest Innovators and Business Leaders

After a successful maiden edition earlier this year, The Business Verge Awards is set to return for its 2nd E-Edition, celebrating Africa’s trailblazers in business and technology.

The event will take place in the first week of December 2025, bringing together founders, innovators, business leaders, and changemakers from across the continent.

The Business & Tech Excellence Awards recognizes individuals and organizations driving growth, innovation, and transformation across Africa’s economic and technological landscape. From visionary founders and creative startups to impactful enterprises and women redefining leadership, this year’s awards promise to spotlight Africa’s brightest minds shaping the future of business and tech.

The maiden edition, which held in January 2025, honored exceptional players across multiple sectors, setting a new standard for recognizing African excellence. This year, the stage is set for an even more dynamic celebration as the awards continue to amplify stories of resilience, creativity, and leadership
across the continent.

According to the organizing committee, the 2025 edition will feature 10 major categories, including:

Nominations are currently open to entrepreneurs, founders, business leaders, and innovators who have been operating for at least one year and have an active social media presence. Interested participants can nominate themselves or others through the official nomination form available below:
